Hi! This is Chloe Jiahe Huang. I go by both Chloe and Jiahe (pronounced as jyah-huh in Mandarin).
I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego, advised by Prof. Rose Yu. Previously, I received my (dual) B.S.E. in Data Science from the University of Michigan and B.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During my undergraduate, I have been fortunate to be mentored by Prof. JJ Park and Dr. Guandao Yang.
My current research centers on scientific machine learning and generative models, with a particular emphasis on bridging the physical world and machine learning insights. I am especially interested in developing energy-based and neural models that produce high-fidelity physical data and enhance generalization, with applications in physics-based simulations and real-world decision-making.
[Pinned] We are recruiting summer interns to work with our group on generative models for 3D biomedical structures.
If you are interested in working with me, please send me your CV together with a brief description of the specific topic you would like to work on (see the Contact section) or follow the guidance on our lab’s webpage.
